“Do you not know that in a race all runners run, but only one gets the prize?”

ICORfit is an abbreviation.  A powerful reminder of our mighty God, and why we need to be running every race in such a way to get the prize, not just running aimlessly.  I stands for the Roman numeral one and COR is an abbreviation for Corinthians.  You will also see on all our apparel 9:24-27.  These verses are where our inspiration came from. 

I COR: 9:24-27

"24 Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize. 25 Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last, but we do it to get a crown that will last forever. 26 Therefore I do not run like someone running aimlessly; I do not fight like a boxer beating the air. 27 No, I strike a blow to my body and make it my slave so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified for the prize."

Our hope in our apparel is to not only pull motivation from the greatest book ever written, the bible, but to also share Christian faith while looking and feeling good.  While this scripture can be applied to working out, it also can be applied to life in general.  Our life is like a race, and the way we “run” it is a reflection of who we are and what we believe.  Run it with passion, run it with grace, and run it in such a way as to get the prize that will last forever. 

When you wear our apparel and look at ICORfit and 9:24-27, we pray that you will remember just how great our God is, and in whatever race you are running, remember who and why you’re running it for, and give it your all. God Bless!
